Transparent Window

You are a transparent window
You are separated by different quadrants
You’re looking from the inside – out
Staring out at the storm you’re living in

You are separated by different quadrants
Each quadrant paints a different picture
Staring out at the storm you’re living in
With raindrops that hold the power to rust

Each quadrant paints a different picture
You see the moon, the beautiful moon
With raindrops that hold the power to rust
It is so dark out there

You see the moon, the beautiful moon
You are a transparent window
It is so dark out there
With raindrops that hold the power to rust

  1. don’t worry! be pessimist. its just like the season of a life you are going through. The sun will rise one day so till then appreciate your struggles against dark! it’s good that you are still having a beautiful moon to support upon. 🙂

    • Aneesha Sopori, you should know that you just put the best smile on my face :). Thanks for the comment! The Catena Rondo poem I wrote wasn’t supposed to sound too pessimistic haha though it may have.. I think it kind of embodies people; we remake ourselves all our lives just by growing – the different quadrants is supposed to represents growth. It was also in the midst of a dark storm that “she” saw the beautiful moon, while recognizing how dark it is out there, she once again acknowledged the beautiful moon :)!
